Cering advanced quickly in the finance sector, accepting larger roles as the Vice President of Hilltop Financial Mortgage and later Regional Director for Genworth. His experience at Hilltop, which at the time had 2000 employees- 500 who were licensed agents- encouraged him to step into real estate. Over time, Cering earned his broker license and successfully operated an independent, 15 agent brokerage. He is currently a Regional Director with Lincoln Financial.
