Bowman was born and raised in Dalton and feels a strong connection to the community. Before venturing into the real estate industry, she worked in several different areas including carpet mill work and office administration.聽 Despite living in the 鈥�,鈥� Bowman found those types of jobs confining.
Bowman had dreamed of being a realtor since she was about six years old. 鈥淓very Thursday evening, my mom and I would go grocery shopping. While she was shopping, I would be sitting under the shopping cart looking through the real estate magazines that were then available outside most grocery stores,鈥� Bowman said. 鈥淭here was one particular agent I was fascinated with- she always had lots of listings in the magazine. I would tell my mom I wanted to build and sell houses when I grew up and be just like that agent.鈥�
Bowman began selling manufactured homes in 1998 before moving to mortgage loan origination. She obtained her real estate license in 2001. Deciding to start her own brokerage was an easy decision, and a natural next step in her career journey.
